Our academic programme is built on the pedagogy of constructivism, and includes an integrative and growth mindset approach. As a school, we are CAPS aligned, but we incorporate core skills such as music, art, drama, and physical education into our academic offering. STEAM forms part of our weekly timetable, allowing the girls time to enhance their skills within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. We believe in investing in the global competencies of knowledge and skills, innovation and creativity, connections and collaboration, emotional wellbeing and fitness, and effective communication skills.

Through our participation in the WESSA Eco-Schools Programme, our curriculum incorporates environmental education, and our International Round Square connection offers an opportunity for our girls to connect with local and global communities, thus enhancing the prospects of global citizenship. Our philosophy of ‘Skilled for Life’ is underpinned by our curriculum programme, which is designed to foster and enhance the characteristics of discovery, curiosity, courage, problem-solving, responsible risk-taking, resilience and self-efficacy.

We believe in building sound relationships with our community and investing in the partnership between students, parents and teachers. Our aim is to instil a love of learning and to create lifelong learners who will go on to become responsible citizens and transformative thinkers.
