Welcome to the Old Girls Business Network
Networking is a key function of business success. It is through a network of relationships that people are able to grow themselves and their businesses. This involves sharing knowledge, wisdom, ideas and contacts. The art of networking lies in the ability to connect with people and to connect others together for service, growth and success.
It takes time to establish a good network and a way to speed it up is to refer to past relationships. Mostly these were established or started at school and are relatively easy to access given the shared school experience.
St. Andrew's Old Girls Association has decided to launch an Old Girls Business Network (OGBN) site on their web page to continue forging relationships between the school and Old Girls as well as assisting girls to succeed in their careers through their continued association with the school.
The objectives of the Old Girls Business Network are to:
- Maintain, build and renew relationships from school.
- Connect ‘Old Girls’ in business so that they are able to share knowledge, contacts, services and opportunities with each other for mutual benefit.
- Keep connected with Old Girls and their accomplishments.
- Provide an easy, cost effective way of business networking within the St. Andrew's circle of influence.
- Raise money for bursaries.
