On Monday 23 January 2012, the entire school gathered on the Tea Lawns to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the school. We were joined by many parents, old girls, and guests. We heard stories of how the school has changed over the years from old girls, followed by a lovely sermon by Reverend Earl Neil. The festivities culminated in the cutting of the birthday cake and the release of 110 red, white and blue balloons into the sky.
After the service, everyone proceeded up to the new Aquatics Centre, which was blessed by the Reverend and formally opened by Mrs Jackson and Mr Thompson, Chairman of the Board. We also heard from a past swimming captain and all the old girls present joined the current girls in a warcry that was all but deafening! There was also an interhouse ladder relay, including ten girls from each house, spanning the under-9 age group all the way up to matric.
