Information Technology and Computer Club
The Role of Information Technology in the Junior School
Information Technology plays a vital role in each pupil’s school career at St Andrews forming part of the school curriculum and is also offered as an extra-curricular activity.
- Grade 0-7 lessons are an hour in length per week.
- Computer Club is offered to Grade 1- 6 pupils weekly.
- Computers are available for use after school in the Junior Computer Centre and Media Centre until 16h30.
In the Intersen Phase lesson content is linked to themes and activities and basic computer skills are taught.
All pupils receive a formal assessment based on the specific skills taught each term.
