The aim of this subject is to build an understanding of the history of the visual arts, to critically look at and evaluate artwork, and develop the artistic and technical characteristics behind the conception and construction of 2D and 3D art, craft and photographs.
In the junior school we offer all the traditional art techniques of drawing, painting, sketching and sculpture during school lessons and more specialised extra-mural classes where photography and pottery, mosaic and canvas painting can be explored in smaller groups.
