Why a girls’ only school? This is of course, the preference of the individual, but the latest international surveys tend to highlight several very important reasons why this is increasingly becoming the option of first choice.

Nene Molefe from Mandate Molefi is quickly becoming a well-known name in the media and in schools across South Africa. Her work in HR and Strategic Transformation in the country and throughout the world is highly regarded and her company has built a credible name for themselves over the last 14 years.
Staff, many of whom are parents, asked for Nene to also speak to parents (and any Old Girls who are interested) so that together we can move forward for the good of our girls.
St Andrew's staff had the pleasure of listening to her 'Unconscious Bias' presentation on Tuesday, 25 September this year as part of their reflection day. Her insightful and holistic approach to unconscious bias leaves much food for thought.
Here are some comments from our teachers:
"The talk was eye opening and very relevant."
"How will you know if you have unconscious bias if it remains unconscious? This talk will help you identify any bias you might have."
"What we know in our heads, needs to be felt in our hearts."
"Nene helps us to be proactive and to recognize helpful and unhelpful behaviours."
